Gantz is a bizarre, violent sci-fy esq. Anime with a unique story.
I got "Gantz because i really enjoyed the Anime "Tokko" as well as a few other bizarre anime series. Gantz is NOT for everyone! Its violent, gory, a lot of foul language and nudity. The story in a nut-shell is this, when certain people die they wake up in a room with a black sphere known as Gantz, these people can get their lives back if they can hunt down the alien creatures whenever Gantz orders them to do so. If youre looing for a strange, sci-fy esq anime you may like this. HOWEVER! The english voice acting was kind of annoying at times especially with the MAIN character, he was always complaining, overly perverted, and his voice alone was hard to listen to but i got past it in the end.I got "Gantz because i really enjoyed the Anime "Tokko" as well as a few other bizarre anime series. It's a slog
The anime is a disservice to the manga, it picks up a little more in Season 2 but the notoriously bad pacing and CGI doesn't help. If you are going to watch Gantz just watch Gantz: 0. Or read the manga.

The story line seems sketchy. The pace rapidly accelerates. Then the pieces all begin to pleasantly come together through deduction.
