Tatiana Santo Domingo's style is ethical elegance at its most refined
The wife of Andrea Casiraghi and the daughter of Julio Mario Santo Domingo Jr, Tatiana Santo Domingo is the shining star of not one, but two of the world’s most glamorous families. Billionaire, heiress and fashion designer, Santo Domingo's penchant for refined luxury makes her yet another gem in the marvellously fashionable Monaco set, while still dominating the style ranks of America’s upper echelon of socialites.
Tatiana Santo Domingo's style is a lesson in sustainable-chic. While the new age hippies of the fashion crowd stick to unkempt apparel in an apparent snub to the industry, Santo Domingo leads the way in ethical elegance. In 2011, Casiraghi launched the Muzungu Sisters label with long-time friend and business partner Dana Alikhani. The duo partner with artisans around the world to create conscious collections in small ateliers in local communities, providing a circular economy. Often donning her own designs at events, Casiraghi effortlessly pairs traditional skillmanship with her tantalising fashion tastes to create a bohemian-luxe appeal similar to that of Talitha Getty.
However, this does not mean that her ensembles are eco-artisan-exclusive. Santo Domingo's familial ties see her hobnobbing with fashion’s brightest stars regularly. A front row staple at Giambattista Valli and Valentino shows, Casiraghi frequently opts for frill-filled gowns at ultra-glamorous events such as the Rose Ball and Monaco National Day.
