Back in 2010, Darren Criss teased an appearance on “your favorite show” Glee on November 9 of that year, asking fans to “save the date” and hoping he “won’t disappoint.”
Flash forward to 2020, and the actor is celebrating 10 years since he stole hearts as the charismatic Blaine on the popular musical series.
“Hey Gleeks, I saved the date,” he tweeted on Monday (Nov. 9). “It’s been 10 years.”

For those who don’t remember Criss’ swoon-worthy first appearance on Glee, it all went down in season two, episode six titled “Never Been Kissed.”
After experiencing homophobia and bullying at his high school, Chris Colfer’s character Kurt visits Dalton Academy, an all-boys private school, where he meets Criss’ Blaine. After a flirtatious exchange, Kurt watches Blaine and the Warblers a capella group perform Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream.”
