At the rate Latin American countries are boycotting Miss Universe 2015, the number of their contingent should be down to a single digit by the time the contest actually starts (tentatively by January, 2016). Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and El Salvador have reportedly banded together against Donald Trump’s pageant.

But not Peru, I would reckon.

Their Miss Universe entry, Laura Spoya, is truly an outstanding beauty that prompting her to back out of the competiton would be such a waste. Just look at her photographs in this post. The girl is smoking hot!

Parang nothing really to work on kase she looks really fit, she seems articulate and the fez…..Yes nagsasawa na ako sa Latina kaso kung deserve naman nya wa tayo say dun. Let’s see. Baka naman to appease the Latino community ibigay na naman sa kanila.

    Mexico could have been a Top contender along with Peru and the UK… I wonder who else are on the Top of the list?…

    I feel bad for those girls who wiĺl not compete at MU…. I hope they’ll be sent to Miss World at least…

      i actually also feel bad for whoever will win in the upcoming MU. With a good number of Latina contenders missing, d results of this edition will forever be in question.

      • Even her name spells Miss Universe… Rhyming by both ending with an “A” and both with 2 sylables… Ariella Arida could have been perfect for brand recall but Miss Peru seems to have all the requirements to become a marketing success…

  9. Had Mexico not been the focus of Trump’s comments, I’m sure they wouldn’t back out. They should have not, actually, because Wendy is just superb. Sobrang sayang sya

  10. She is gorgeous!!! It is ashame that many countries have backed out. I agree that Trump is really such a fool — but I fear that backing out of Miss Universe only hurts the ladies more than it does Trump. The MU Org is only one of so many of Trump’s entities that this does not affect him as much as it affects these ladies who have been working so hard for such a long time to get to this MU stage. Their dreams have been shattered. 😦
