On this episode of the podcast we host a green aviation pioneer in the true sense of the word, André Borschberg, a Swiss pilot and entrepreneur that is committed to pushing the frontiers of green flight technology.

André Borschberg and Bertran Piccard made headlines in 2016 when they completed a circumnvigation of the globe Solar Impulse, an aircraft that was powered by solar power only.

After that epic flight, André has continued to work on alternative propulsion sources and his current venture, Swiss-based H55 is working on a light electric aircraft that, he expects, will help train new generations of pilots, those that will lead aviation into a carbon-less future.

Listen to this week’s episode for a chat with André about the challenges of developing an electric aircraft and his insights about this new era of green aviation that we are currently entering…
