Synopsis:

The Day the Dogs Disappeared: When their French bulldog disappears, a sense of fear creeps into the Haese family's lives. What was once familiar gradually becomes uncanny. Sons of No One: After a suspicious incident between a guard and one of the young detainees of a juvenile detention center, an educator named Eva starts to question the guard's side of the story. Maverick: After the death of his father, eight year old Stan uses his own fantasy as his main coping mechanism. The day he and his family are about to move, Stan thinks that he shot down a plane. Frightened but with confident spirit, he goes into the woods to find the crashed device. the Life of Esteban: Esteban, a future Olympic swimmer, has grown up with a single mother and doesn't know who his father is. As he searches for his identity in this poetic short film, he determines swimming is a metaphor for life itself. Saint Hubert: A forester in the east part of Belgium lives a peaceful life in the forest. When there is a big investigation in the forest, organized by the federal police, problems start to occur. This ends up in a conflict between the forester and one of the police officers. A clash between nature and the modern world. Remise: Luc Moulin is a Belgian chess boxing champion. But that's all that can be said. In fact, there is only one person who believes in Luc: his son Kasper, who wants to be like his father. According to Luc, that is the worst thing that could happen to anyone. Hotel Mama: An extravagant mother searches for her daughter after a long time. In their view one similarity cannot be ignored: their infantile and dependent lifestyle. Take Good Care of My Baby: Eva is a single mother with three young children. Although she's unemployed and has a lot of debts, she tries to do good for the people in her neighborhood and makes sure that her children have everything they need. Lost in the Middle: Steven and Abdel, two young Belgians, leave for Syria. One as a journalist, the other as a fighter. Yet they have more in common than you might think. Holy Night Lonely Lights: Three men don't want to spend Christmas eve on their own. Melchior, Balthazar and Caspar wander through the city of Antwerp, hoping to find amusement and affection. They get confronted with themselves and the dangers of the night. Out of the Blue, Into the Black: 16-year-old Flament is stuck in a toilet cabin at a music festival and gets mortally wounded during a heavy storm. Not yet ready to die, he desperately fights time and space. Poor kids: Twenty-year-old Max is the son of a sailor and lives in a boarding school for children of seamen and immigrants.... Hashtag: Marie gets to know Kevin online, the most sweetest and romantic boy she ever spoke...She's already dreaming of their future together, but then he asks for nude pictures. May Day: A dozen desperate job seekers find themselves trapped in the most awkward job interview ever. The Ape Man: A pudgy little man lives a lonely life on the top floor of a skyscraper. One day, when he hears the aggressive rants of his neighbour, he looks for the Tarzan inside to rescue his nextdoor Jane. Wildebeest: Going on a safari is a dream for many. For middle-aged couple Linda and Troyer, it turns into a horribly real adventure when they get left behind in the wilderness. Girlhood: Girlhood wants to break the boundaries of the stereotypical concept of femininity. To that end, the maker returns to her childhood where she starts questioning herself about her short hair, missing bikini top and reckless tree climbing. The result of her personal search is a mosaic portrait of young people who each reflect a facet of herself as a young woman.
