本発明は、 風力発電に使用されるプロペラ形風車に関する。
背景技術
風力発電を行う場合、 ヨーロッパなどと異なり日本は山谷が多く 一定の風量に恵まれていない。 日本の国内における通常風速は、 一 般的に年間平均風速が 1 0 m Z s 以下の領域がほとんどであり、 風 力発電装置の定格出力をはるかに下回ることが多い。
風車の発電量については、

の関係にあり、 このため従来より風車の発電量を増加させるために. プロペラロータ一の直径を大きく して大型機を開発する傾向にある, ところで、 一般にこのような大型機の定格出力に対応する定格風 速は、 1 0 m / s以上の大風速であり、 通常気象状態で、 台風など の暴風時を除けば、 このような大風速が常に存在する地域はほとん どまれであり、 通常風時では定格出力よりははるかに少ない出力で 運転されているのが現状である。 このように大型機を設置した場合 、 発電機をはじめ、 構造物が大型となり、 設備コス トが嵩む割には 、 低速域での性能の向上は少ない。 また受風面積が大きい分、 暴風 時の対策がとりにく く危険が伴うという問題もあった。
したがって、 本発明は、 低速域であっても発電性能を向上させる ことができる発電用プロペラ形風車を提供することを目的とする。
発明の開示 クレーム 1記載の発明は、 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸か らハブを介して一定角度ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発 電用プロペラ形風 において、 各風車ブレードのプレ一ド本体内に 、 それぞれ先端に向って出退自在に内蔵された先端補助ブレードと 、 前記先端補助ブレードを先端側に突出させてブレード全長を増大 させる補助プレード出退装置を設けたことを特徴とする。
このような構成によれば、 低速風時は先端補助プレード出退装置 により先端補助ブレードを突出した状態で風車ブレードの全長を長 く して翼の揚力を増大させ、 回転トルクを向上させて発電量を増加 することができる。 また定格出力を越えるほどの高風速時や暴風時 には、 先端補助ブレードを後退してブレード本体内に収納すること により、 風車ブレードに生じる抗カを減少させて構造物に無駄な負 荷をかけず、 破損を防止することができる。
またクレーム 2記載の発明は、 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転 軸からハブを介して一定角度ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられ た発電用プロペラ各風車ブレードのブレード本体の前縁部に、 回転 方向前方に突出してブレ一ド本体との間にブレード本体の背面に気 流を案内する通路を形成可能な翼形断面の前縁補助翼を出退自在に 設け、 前記前録補助翼を回転方向前方に突出させてブレード本体の 背面に案内する気流により、 前縁補助翼に揚力を発生させて風車ブ レードの回転トルクを増大させる前縁補助翼出退装置を設けたこと を特徴とする。
上記構成によれば、 先端補助ブレードと前縁補助翼とにより、 流 入する気流の速度がより低速であっても、 先端補助ブレードと前縁 補助翼に揚力を発生させて回転トルクをさらに増加することができ 、 低風速域での発電可能範囲をより拡大することができる。
クレーム 3記載の発明は、 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸か らハブを介して一定角度ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発 電用プロペラ形風車において、 各風車ブレードのブレード本体内に 、 それぞれ先端に向って出退自在に内蔵された先端補助ブレードと 、 前記先端補助プレードを先端側に突出させてプレ一ド全長を増大 させる補助ブレード出退装置を設け、 各風車ブレードのプレード本 体の前縁部に、 回転方向前方に突出してブレード本体との間にブレ ―ド本体の背面に気流を案内する通路を形成可能な翼形断面の前縁 補助翼を出退自在に設け、 前記前縁補助翼を回転方向前方に突出さ せてブレード本体の背面に案内する気流により、 前縁補助翼に揚力 を発生させて風車プレードの回転トルクを増大させる前緣補助翼出 退装置を設け、 前記各ブレード本体に、 後縁部から回転方向後方に それぞれ出退自在に設けられた後部補助翼と、 前記後部補助翼を後 方に突出させて翼弦長を増大させる後部補助翼出退装置とを設けた ことを特徴とする。
上記構成によれば、 前縁補助翼による揚力の増加と、 先端補助ブ レードにより生じる揚力の増加と、 前縁補助翼および後部補助翼に よる翼弦長および または翼の反りを増大させることによる揚力の 増加とにより、 風車ブレードに発生する揚力をさらに増大させて回 転 トルクを向上させ、 さらに低速な気流であっても発電量を増加す ることができる。
クレーム 4記載の発明は、 クレーム 1乃至 3のいずれかの構成に おいて、 先端補助ブレードの出退を案内する出退ガイ ド装置に、 先 端補助ブレードのピツチを変更するピッチ変更ガイ ド部を設けたこ とを特徵とする。
上記構成によれば、 ピッチ変更ガイ ド部により、 翼本体と先端補 助ブレードのピッチを連続させることができ、 性能の良い翼体が形 成できる。
クレーム 5記載の発明は、 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸か らハブを介して一定角度ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発 電用プロペラ形風車において、 各風車ブレードのプレード本体の前 縁部に、 回転方向前方に突出してブレ一ド本体との間にブレード本 体の背面に気流を案内する通路を形成可能な翼形断面の前緣補助翼 を出退自在に設け、 前記前縁補助翼を回転方向前方に突出させてブ レード本体の背面に案内する気流により、 前緣補助翼に揚力を発生 させて風車ブレードの回転トルクを増大させる前縁補助翼出退装置 を設けたことを特徴とする。
上記構成によれば、 流入する気流の速度が低速であっても、 前縁 補助翼により、 前縁補助翼に揚力を発生させて回転トルクを増加す ることができ、 低風速域での発電可能範囲を拡大することができる クレーム 6記載の発明は、 クレーム 5記載の構成において、 各風 車ブレードのブレード本体に、 回転方向後方の縁部から後方にそれ ぞれ出退自在に設けられた後部補助翼と、 前記後部補助翼を後方に 突出させて翼弦長を増大させる後部補助翼出退装置と.を設けたこと を特徴とする。
上記構成によれば、 前縁補助翼による揚力の増加と、 後部補助翼 による翼弦長および/または翼の反りを増大させることによる揚力 の増加により、 風車ブレードに発生する揚力をさらに増大させて回 転トルクを向上させ、 さらに低速な気流であっても発電量を増加す ることができる。
クレーム 7記載の発明は、 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸か らハブを介して一定角度ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発 電用プロペラ形風車において、 前記各風車ブレードのブレード本体 に、 後縁部から回転方向後方にそれぞれ出退自在に設けられた後部 補助翼と、 前記後部補助翼を後方に突出させて冀弦長を増大させる 後部補助翼出退装置とを設けたことを特徴とする。
上記構成によれば、 後部補助翼により、 翼弦長および Zまたは翼 の反りを増大させ、 結果的に風車ブレードに発生する揚力を増大さ せて回転トルクを向上させることができ、 低速な気流であっても発 電量を増加することができる。 図面の簡単な説明

本発明をより詳細に説明するために、 発電用プロペラ風車の第 1 の実施例を図 1〜図 8に従ってこれを説明する。
このプロペラ形風車は、 図 1〜図 3 に示すように、 発電装置に連 結される水平回転軸 2に設けられたハブ 1に、 たとえば 1 2 0 ° ご とに半径方向に突出するように 3枚の風車ブレード 3が設けられて いる。 そして、 前記風車ブレード 3は、 ハブ 1 に取付けられたブレ 一ド本体 4 と、 前記プレード本体 4の先端部に取付けられた主ェン ドプレート 5 と、 ブレード本体内に主エンドプレート 5から先端側 に出退自在に内蔵されて先端エンドプレート 7 を有する先端補助プ レ一ド 6 と、 前記先端補助ブレード 6を出退させる先端補助プレー ド出退装置 8 とを具備している。 また前記先端補助ブレード出退装 置 8には、 先端補助ブレード 6の出退を案内するとともにそのピッ チを与える出退ガイ ド部 . 9が設けられている。
前記先端補助ブレード 6には、 略ブレード軸心 Oを中心として連 続的に変化する小さいピッチ Φ (図示せず) が与えられている。 ま た先端補助プレード 6は、 基端側で前縁と後縁が互いに平行な平行 部 6 aと、 前記平行部 6 aの先端側で前縁と後縁が先端側ほど狭い 幅となるテーパー部 6 bと、 テーパー部 6 bの先端面に取付けられ た先端エンドプレ一ト 7 とで構成されている。 また、 前記平行部 6 aには、 ブレード本体 4内でブレード軸心 0方向に沿うスライ ド支 持部 6 dが連結されている。
前記補助ブレード出退装置 8は、 図 2 , 図 3 に示すように、 ハブ 1 に設けられた出退駆動モータ 2 1 と、 前記出退駆動モータ 2 1に よりべベルギヤ機構 2 2を介して回転駆動される出退用ねじ軸 2 3 と、 スライ ド支持部材 6 dの基端側に設けられて出退用ねじ軸 2 3 に嵌合される雌ねじ部材 2 4により構成される。
ところで、 風車ブレード 3は先端補助ブレード 6を伸ばした状態 で、 基端側でピッチ Φが大きく (たとえば 2 0 ° 程度) 、 先端側ほ どピッチ Φが小さくなり、 先端部では 0 ° に近似するように捻じり が与えられており、 また断面形状も連続的に変化されている。 そし て、 先端補助ブレード 6が内蔵されるブレード本体 4の先端側は、 ピッチ φの変化が小さいため、 先端補助ブレード 6で断面積が小さ ぃテ一パー部 6 bは出退自在に収納できる十分な空間が確保される が、 基端側の平行部 6 aはその断面積が大きいため、 捻じりを与え て出退できる空間の余裕がない。 そのため、 平行部 6 aを断面形状 に沿って直進状に出退させると、 平行部 6 aとプレード本体 4の連 結部分でピッチ Φが.連続しなくなるという問題が生じる。 この対策 として、 この実施例では、 先端補助ブレード 6の先端部から中間部 までのテーパー部 6 bを直進状に突出移動させ、 その後に平行部 6 aを突出させる際に、 先端補助ブレード出退装置 8 の出退ガイ ド部 9により、 少し平行部 6 aに回転変位を与えつつ突出移動させるこ とにより、 先端補助ブレード 6の突出完了後にプレード 4, 6 の全 体にわたってピッチ を連続させるように構成されている。
すなわち、 出退ガイ ド部 9は、 ブレード本体 4内の先端部で平行 部 6 aを案内するとともにピッチ付加するピッチ変更ガイ ド部 9 a と、 前記スライ ド支持部材 6 dを案内するスライ ドガイ ド部 9 bと を具備している。 前記ピッチ変更ガイ ド部 9 aは、 図 4 , 図 5に示 すように、 平行部 6 aをブレード軸心 0を中心に先端補助プレード 6に回転変位を付加するために、 対向面にブレード軸心 Oを中心と する円弧ガイ ド面 1 1 aがそれぞれ形成された一対の捻 pりガイ ド 1 1 A , 1 1 Bがブレード本体 4内に取付けられている。 そして前 記捻じりガイ ド 1 1 A, 1 1 B間に捻じり部材 1 2が円弧ガイ ド面 1 1 aに沿ってブレード軸心 Oを中心に回動自在に配置されている 。 さらに前記捻じり部材 1 2には、 平行部 6 を案内するスライ ド 凹部 1 2 aが形成されている。 また平行部 6 aには、 前縁部適所に ポールガイ ド体 1 3が突設されており、 捻じりガイ ド 1 1 Aには、 ポールガイ ド体 1 3 を案内する捻じりガイ ド溝 1 4が形成されてい る。 前記捻じりガイ ド溝 1 4は、 図 5に示すように、 上部ほど所定 の回転変位となるようにピッチ Φの形成方向に所定量 δ傾斜されて レ¾ 。
したがって、 先端補助ブレード 6が突出移動されて突出限に近づ く と、 平行部 6 aが捻じり部材 1 2のスライ ド凹部 1 2 aに案内さ れるとともに、 ポールガイ ド体 1 3が捻じりガイ ド溝 1 4に嵌入さ れて移動し、 突出限に接近すると、 捻じりガイ ド溝 1 4の傾斜によ り、 先端補助ブレード 6が平行部 6 aを介して捻じり部材 1 2 と-共 にブレ一ド軸心〇を中心に所定の回転変位 δだけ捩じりつつ突出さ せることができる。
前記スライ ドガイ ド部 9 bは、 図 3, 図 6 に示すように、 スライ ド支持部材 6 dが中空の長方形断面に形成されており、 一方、 ブレ ―ド本体 4に支持された長方形断面のガイ ドフレーム 1 7がブレー ド軸心〇に沿って設けられ、 前記ガイ ドフレーム 1 7にコーナ一部 材 1 8を介してスライ ド支持部材 6 dがスライ ド自在に外嵌されて いる。 また前記出退用ねじ軸 2 3は軸受 2 5に支持されるとともに 、 基端側で複数の自在継手 2 3 aが介在され、 出退用ねじ軸 2 3の 振れに追従可能に構成されている。 図 8は発電用プロペラ風車における風速と発電量の関係を示すグ ラフであり、 たとえば風速約 3〜 4 m / / s e cのカツ トインライン から風車ブレード 3が回転を開始し、 短時間で一定の回転数に達す る。 そして、 その発電量はその風速により得られる回転トルクに応 じて発電量が増大される。 すなわち、 たとえば定格出力 (発電量) が 6 0 0 K Wの従来風車では、 aに示すように、 風速に応じて発電 量が増加し、 定格風速 ( 1 3 m/S eC程度) になると定格出力が得ら れ、 それ以上風速が増大しても発電量は増加しない。 また定格発電 量 (出力) が 1 2 0 0 K Wの従来風車では、 bに示すように、 風速 の増大に応じて急速に発電量が増加し、 同様に定格風速 ( 1 3 m/se c程度) になると定格出力が得られる。 たとえば本発明では、 先端 補助ブレード 6を収納した定格発電量が 6 0 0 K Wに設定され、 先 端補助ブレード 6を突出した時の定格発電量が約 1 2 0 0 K Wに設 定された場合、 曲線 c に示すように、 低風速時には先端補助ブレー ド 6が突出されているため、 定格発電量が 1 2 0 0 K Wの風車と同 様の軌跡をたどって高回転トルクが得られ発電量が増大する。 そし て、 たとえば風車ブレード 3の強度などに基づいて設定された規定 風速が 1 0 -m/secになると、 先端補助ブレード 6が後退されてプレ ード本体 4内に収容されると、 c — 1 に示すように、 発電量が定格 の 6 0 0 K Wまで発電量が低下し、 後は定格発電量 6 0 0 K Wが維 持される。 この規定風速が 1 2 m/secの場合は、 c 一 2で示すよう に、 6 0 0 K Wまで発電量が低下する。 さらに規定風速が定格風速 1 3 m/secの場合も、 c 一 3で示すように 6 0 0 K Wまで出力が低 下する。 このように何れの場合でも、 風速が 6 ~ 1 3 m/secの範囲 で定格出力が 6 0 0 K Wの風車に比べて、 ハッチング部分だけ発電 量が増加される。
なお、 カッ トアウト風速として約 2 5 m/secを越える暴風が吹い た場合には、 風車ブレード 3の回転は強制的に停止されて破損が防 止される。
上記構成によれば、 建設規模および費用は小形の設備で、 先端補 助ブレード 6を使用して、 低風速時に大きい揚力と回転トルクを得 て、 高い発電能力を発揮できる。 また定格風速では、 先端補助ブレ —ド 6を収納することにより、 定格出力を維持することができる。 これにより、 発電量を増加させることができる風速域を低速域にま で及ぶ広い範囲で設定することができる。 さらに、 出退ガイ ド装置 9にピッチ付加手段 1 1 を設けたので、 ブレード本体 4内から先端 補助ブレード 6を突出する時に、 所定の回転変位を与えてブレード 本体 4から先端補助ブレード 6 に連続するピッチを形成することが できるので、 効率の向上を図ることができる。
図 9, 図 1 0は補助ブレード出退装置とピッチ付加手段の変形例 を示す。
すなわち、 主エンドプレート 5にピッチ変更軸受 3 3を介して旋 回部材 3 4が配設され、 先端補助ブレ一ド 6の基端部が旋回部材 3 4の保持穴 3 5に嵌脱自在に嵌合されている。 前記先端補助ブレー ド 6 にはプレ一ド軸心 Oに沿う ピッチ変更軸 3 0が基端方向に取付 けられ、 前記ピッチ変更軸 3 0 を介して、 先端補助ブレード 6のピ ツチを変更する補助ブレードピッチ変更装置 (ピッチ付加手段) 3 1 と、 先端補助ブレード 6を出退駆動する補助ブレード出退装置 3 2 とが設けられている。
前記ピッチ変更軸 3 0は、 先端側で円形軸部 3 0 aと、 前記円形 軸部 3 0 aの基端側にフランジ 3 0 bを介して連結された矩形軸部 3 0 c とから構成されている。 また補助ブレードピッチ変更装置 3 1 は、 矩形軸部 3 0 cに軸心方向にスライ ド自在に外嵌された受動 ギヤ 3 1 aと前記受動ギヤに嚙み合う駆動ギヤ 3 1 bからなる伝動 ギヤ部 3 1 c と、 中間軸 3 I dを介して駆動ギヤ 3 l bを駆動する 減速用ギヤボックス 3 1 e と、 ステップモータ 3 1 f により減速用 ギヤボックス 3 1 eに直接、 またはラックおよび入力用ピニオンを 介して入力するピッチ変更入力部 3 1 gとで構成されている。
また補助ブレード出退装置 3 2は、 先の実施例とほぼ同一構成で あるが、 上下一対の雌ねじ部材 2 8 を有するスライ ド部材 3 2 aに 、 ガイ ド部とガイ ド溝からなる回り止め機構 3 2 bを有する伝動ァ —ム 3 2 cが設けられており、 これら伝動アーム 3 2 c にピッチ変 更軸 3 0の円形軸部 3 0 aが回転のみ自在に連結されている。 すな わち、 伝動アーム 3 2 cには円形軸部 3 0 aに遊嵌する筒部材 3 2 dが取付けられ、 円形軸部 3 0 aには前記筒部材 3 2 dの上部およ び下部に回転自在な伝動軸受 3 2 eがそれぞれ固定されている。 こ れにより、 伝動アーム 3 2 cに対して円形軸部 3 0 aの回転が許容 されるとともに、 伝動アーム 3 2 c のブレード軸心〇方向に沿う出 退駆動力が円形軸部 3 0 aに伝達されて先端補助ブレード 6が出退 駆動される。
この実施例によれば、 先の実施例と同様の効果を奏することがで きるとともに、 風速に応じてピッチ変更軸 3 0を介して補助プレー ドピッチ変更装置 3 1により先端補助ブレード 6 のピッチ φを変更 することにより、 風車ブレード 4の回転数を一定に保持したままで 効率の良い発電が可能となる。
次に図 1 1〜図 1 5により発電用プロペラ風車の第 2の実施例を 説明する。
このプロペラ形風車は、 ハブ 4 0から 1 2 0 ° ごとに風車ブレー ド 4 1が突出され、 これら風車ブレード 4 1 には、 ブレード本体 4 2の前縁部に複数の前縁補助翼 4 3が回転方向前方に出退自在に設 けられるとともに、 プレード本体 4 2の後部に後部補助翼 5 1が回 転方向後方に出退自在に設けられている。
図 1 1〜図 1 3に示すように、 ブレ一ド本体 4 2は、 先端部にェ ンドプレート 4 4が設けられるとともに翼型断面に形成されている 。 そして、 プレード本体 4 2の前緣部から背面にかけてプレード本 体 4 2から離間可能な前縁補助翼 4 3が長さ方向に複数枚分割して 設けられており、 ブレード本体 4 2内には、 前記前縁補助翼 4 3 を それぞれ前方に出退駆動する前縁補助翼出退装置 5 0が設けられて いる。 また、 これら前縁補助翼 4 3はキャンバー付き翼形断面に形 成されており、 回転方向前方に突出された時にブレード本体 4 2か ら離間して、 ブレード本体 4 2 と前縁補助翼 4 3 との間にブレード 本体 4 2の背面側へ気流を案内する通路 4 5が形成され、 前記通路 4 5によりプレード本体 4 2 の背面側に流れる気流を整流するとと もに、 気流の流入速度が低速であっても前縁補助翼 4 3に揚力と回 転トルクが発生するように構成されている。
前縁補助翼出退装置 5 0は、 前縁補助翼 4 3の後面から出退方向 に沿ってブレード本体 4側に複数のサポートガイ ド板 4 6が突設さ れてブレード本体 4 2の出退口 4 9に揷入され、 ブレード本体 4 2 内で前記サポートガイ ド板 4 6が複数の溝付きガイ ドローラ 4 7 に より出退自在に案内支持されている。 そして、 ブレード本体 4 2内 に配置された複数の出退駆動装置 (たとえば油圧式シリ ンダや電動 ジャッキ) 4 8の出力ロッ ドがサポートガイ ド板 4 6に連結されて 、 前緣補助翼 4 3を出退駆動するように構成される。
以下に前緣補助翼 4 3の性能の基本原理について説明する。 図 1 5 ( a) に示すように、 風車ブレード 4 1 は所定の回転速度 で回転され、 流速 Vwの気流が吹く と、 相対的な角度 (ブレード取 付け角 ^ +迎角 a) 方向に気流が速度 V i で流入される。 これによ り、 流入方向の抗カ Dと、 流入方向に直角な方向の揚力 Lが発生し 、 前記揚力 Lの回転方向の分力が回転トルクを発生させる力 T r と して風車ブレード 4 1 に作用し、 前記回転トルクを発生させる力 T rにより発電機が作動されて発電される。 ところで、 図 1 5 ( b) に示すように、 気流の流速 Vwが小さい場合には、 揚力 Lが発生せ ず、 発電に寄与しない。
この時、 図 1 5 ( c ) に示すように、 前縁補助翼 4 3がブレード 本体 4 2から前方に突出されると、 気流 Vwは前縁補助翼 4 3 に案 内されて通路 4 5からブレード本体 4 2の背面側に流れ、 うず流を 整流して剥離流を防止しブレード本体 4 2 に揚力 Lの発生を促し、 さらに前縁補助翼 4 3に向って相対流入速度 V i ' により、 前縁補 助翼 4 3 に揚力 L ' と回転トルクを発生させる力 T r ' が発生され てプレード本体 4 2に作用し、 低速の気流 Vw' であっても風車ブ レード 4 1 に発電に寄与する回転トルクが発生され、 回転速度を加 速して所定の速度で回転させ発電が可能となる。
また前記ブレード本体 4 2には、 長さ方向に複数枚の後部補助翼. 5 1が内蔵され、 これら後部補助翼 5 1はブレード本体 4 2の後縁 部の出退口 5 2から後方にそれぞれ出退自在に配置されている。 ま たブレード本体 4 2内には、 前記後部補助翼 5 1 を後方に突出させ て風車ブレード 4 1の翼弦長を拡大する後部補助翼出退装置 5 3が 設けられている。
これら後部補助翼 5 1 は、 ブレード本体 4 2の背面板 4 2 aの内 面に沿ってスライ ド自在に配置された翼板 5 1 aと、 これら翼板 5 1 aの前面側に突設されて出退方向に沿う補強用リブ 5 1 bとで構 成されている。 また後部補助翼出退装置 5 3は、 補強用リブ 5 1 b を介して翼板 5 1 aを出退自在に案内する複数の溝付きガイ ドロ一 ラ 5 4と、 ブレード本体 4 2内で出力口ッ ドが後部補助翼 5 1に連 結された複数の出退駆動装置 (たとえば油圧式シリ ンダゃ電動ジャ ツキ) 5 5により構成されている。 そして、 前記出退駆動装置 5 5 を伸展することにより後部補助翼 5 1を出退口 5 2から後方にそれ ぞれ突出させることができる。
上記構成によれば、 風車ブレード 4 1は所定の回転速度で回転さ れており、 風車に流入する気流の流入速度が小さい場合には、 図 1 1 , 図 1 3に示すように、 前縁補助翼出退装置 5 0により前縁補助 翼 4 3が後方に突出され、 さらに後部補助翼出退装置 5 3により後 部補助翼 5 1が突出される。
前記前縁補助翼 4 3により揚力 L ' が発生され、 その分力により 回転トルクを発生させる力 T r ' が発生してブレード本体 4 2に作 用することにより大きい回転トルクが得られる。 また後部補助翼 5 1 により風車ブレード 4 1の翼弦長が増大されるか、 または翼キヤ ンバ (翼の反り) が増大され、 あるいは翼弦長と翼キャンパが増大 されて、 ブレード本体 4 2の回転トルクを発生させる力 T r を増大 させる。 これらの効果により、 気流が低速であっても風車プレード 1 を所定の回転数で回転させて大きいトルクが得られ、 発電量を 増加できる。
また、 気流の流入速度に対応して、 前縁補助翼 4 3および後部補 助翼 5 1の一方のみを突出させて使用してもよい。 もちろん、 気流 の速度が高い場合には、 前縁補助翼 4 3 を後退させてブレード本体 4 2 と一体化させ、 後部補助翼 5 1 を後退させてプレード本体 4 2 に収納すればよい。 これにより、 風車ブレード 4 1 の抗カを低下さ せて暴風による破損などの事故を防止することができる。
図 1 6は、 第 1の実施例と第 2の実施例を組み合わせた第 3の実 施例で、 風車ブレード 6 0 ·のブレード本体 6 1内に先端補助ブレー ド 6 と前縁補助翼 4 3、 後部補助翼 5 1 とを出退自在に内蔵したも のである。
上記構成によれば、 第 1 の実施例の作用効果に第 2の実施例の作 用効果を組み合わせて、 さ らに低速の気流であっても、 先端補助ブ レード 6 と前縁補助翼 4 3、 後部補助翼 5 1 により有効に回転トル クを発生させて発電を行うことができる。
産業上の利用可能性
以上のように本発明に係る発電用プロペラ形風車は、 低速風が多 い地域の風力発電に適している。

請 求 の 範 囲
1 . 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸からハブを介して一定角度 ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発電用プロペラ形風車にお いて、
各風車ブレードのブレード本体内に、 それぞれ先端に向って出退 自在に内蔵された先端補助ブレードと、 前記先端補助ブレードを先 端側に突出させてブレード全長を増大させる補助ブレー ド出退装置 を設けた
ことを特徴とする発電用プロペラ形風車。
2 . 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸からハプを介して一定角度 ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発電用プロペラ形風車にお いて、
各風車プレードのブレード本体内に、 それぞれ先端に向って出退 自在に内蔵された先端補助ブレードと、 前記先端補助ブレードを先 端側に突出させてブレード全長を増大させる補助ブレード出退装置 を設け、
各風車ブレードのブレード本体の前縁部に、 回転方向前方に出退 自在に配置され、 ブレード本体との間に気流をブレード本体の背面 に案内する通路を形成可能な翼形断面の前縁補助翼を設け、
前記前縁補助翼を回転方向前方に突出させて形成した前記通路か 'らプレード本体の背面に気流を案内することにより、 前縁補助翼に 揚力を発生させて風車プレードの回転トルクを増大させる前縁補助 翼出退装置を設けた
ことを特徴とする発電用プロペラ形風車。
3 . 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸から八ブを介して一定角度 ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発電用プロぺラ形風車にお いて、
各風車プレードのブレ一ド本体内に、 それぞれ先端に向って出退 自在に内蔵された先端補助ブレードと、 前記先端補助ブレードを先 端側に突出させてブレード全長を増大させる補助ブレード出退装置 を設け、
各風車ブ ードのブレード本体の前縁部に、 回転方向前方に出退 自在に配置され、 ブレード本体との間に気流をプレード本体の背面 に案内する通路を形成可能な翼形断面の前縁補助翼を設け、
前記前縁補助翼を回転方向前方に突出させて形成した前記通路か らブレード本体の背面に気流を案内することにより、 前縁補助翼に 揚力を発生させて風車ブレ一ドの回転トルクを増大させる前縁補助 翼出退装置を設け、
前記各ブレード本体に、 後縁部から回転方向後方にそれぞれ出退 自在に設けられた後部補助翼と、 前記後部補助翼を後方に突出させ て翼弦長を増大させる後部補助翼出退装置とを設けた
ことを特徴とする発電用プロペラ形風車。
4 . 先端補助ブレードの出退を案内する出退ガイ ド装置に、 先端補 助プレードのピッチを変更するピッチ変更ガイ ド部を設けた
ことを特徴とするクレーム 1乃至 3のいずれかに記載の発電用プ 口ペラ形風車。 ·
5 . 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸からハブを介して一定角度 ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発電用プロペラ形風車にお いて、
各風車ブレードのブレード本体の前縁部に、 回転方向前方に出退 自在に配置され、 ブレード本体との間に気流をブレード本体の背面 に案内する通路を形成可能な翼形断面の前緣補助翼を設け、 前記前縁補助翼を回転方向前方に突出させて形成した前記通路か らブレード本体の背面に気流を案内することにより、 前縁補助翼に 揚力を発生させて風車ブレードの回転トルクを増大させる前縁補助 翼出退装置を設けた
ことを特徴とする発電用プロペラ形風車。
6 . 各風車ブレー ドのプレード本体に、 後緣部から回転方向後方に それぞれ出退自在に設けられた後部補助翼と、 前記後部補助翼を後 方に突出させて翼弦長を増大させる後部補助翼出退装置とを設けた ことを特徴とするクレーム 5記載の発電用プロペラ形風車。
7 . 水平回転軸と直交する面内で回転軸からハブを介して一定角度 ごとに複数の風車ブレードが設けられた発電用プロペラ形風車にお いて、 ,
