Abstract
Description
The invention relates to an actuator for fluid mechanics effective components, especially for adjustable rotor blades from Wind turbines, with two parallel drive trains, which on the same component or the same components act, according to the preamble of Claim 1, and a method for operating this Actuator.
Rotor blade adjustment systems are already available from existing wind turbines with two parallel drive trains, which on the same or the same rotor blades, known. Each drive train consists of an electric motor with friction brake, from a speed-reducing Gearbox, which is directly coupled to the electric motor, from one the transmission downstream electromagnetic clutch and from a on the output side connected to the clutch pinion, which in a Gear meshes with the rotor blade. In normal operation, it takes over of the two drive trains the blade adjustment, the clutch in de-energized state is engaged while the clutch of the second Drivetrain is disengaged in the de-energized state, i.e. disconnects. At Malfunction or failure of the first drive train becomes its clutch active (power supply) disconnected, the clutch of the second drive train is actively engaged (power supply) and the rotor blade or blades pivoted to the feathered position by means of the second drive train (Emergency stop switch). The brakes on both electric motors are designed so that they grip in the de-energized state, so they must be in front of everyone Adjustment process active (power supply) can be solved. The two brakes are required because the mechanical transmission chain in none Direction is self-locking, and even if a clutch fails Fixation of each rotor blade, especially in the feathered position, is guaranteed have to be. Taxless rotor blades could under unfavorable circumstances destroy the entire facility. So a powertrain is only for Regular operation, the other only for emergency stop. Requirements for a safe automatic shutdown of the system is that both Clutches actively perform their function and that the second electric motor together with the brake still works.
Because of this operating method and because of the numerous functional elements (motors, brakes, gears, clutches) the adjustment system described is relatively fragile, maintenance-intensive, complex and expensive.
In contrast, the object of the invention is an actuator with two parallel drive trains for fluid mechanically effective Components, in particular for adjustable rotor blades from To provide wind turbines, which is structurally simple, is particularly safe and easy to maintain and monitor, and a specify the appropriate operating procedure for this.
This object is achieved by the features characterized in main claim 1 and in auxiliary claim 3 .
Through the use of worm gears, which in reverse Torque flow are self-locking, there is no need for brakes. The Merging the two drive trains in a differential gear makes it possible to do without clutches because of a torque transmission on the component (s) even when a drive train is at a standstill is possible. The absence of clutches and brakes is crucial to simplify and increase operational safety, since this Experience has shown that machine elements are relatively imprecise Show operating behavior and are very maintenance-intensive.
In normal operation, both drive trains work synchronously, in the event of faults only the intact strand is still working, so that the performance and the adjustment speed can be halved, but the torque remains the same (differential effect).
Since both drive trains are active in normal operation and constantly monitored, errors can be discovered quickly. It poses neither of the strands represents "dead ballast" by weight. Because both strands identically constructed and therefore equally suitable for emergency operation operational safety.
Apart from wind turbines with adjustable rotor blades, the Invention still suitable for a variety of other applications. To include generally adjustable propellers or turbines for liquids and gases, vane grilles, flaps, rudders, swivel nozzles, thrust reversers Etc.
The sub-claim 2 contains a preferred embodiment of the Actuator according to claim 1.
The invention is described below with reference to the drawing Embodiment explained in more detail.
The figure shows, partly in view, partly in section, all essential Elements of the actuator.
The illustrated embodiment of the actuator 1 according to the invention is provided especially for wind energy plants with one or more, adjustable rotor blades and rotates as a hub-fixed system with the rotor of the wind plant. It is also possible to arrange the actuator firmly outside the rotor, whereby the mechanical coupling of the differential gear with the rotor blade or blades, ie the transmission of motion from the stationary to the rotating system, can take place via a roller bearing and linkage, as in an aircraft variable pitch propeller. The illustrated co-rotating version will generally be simpler, in which only electrical energy has to be transferred from the fixed system to the rotating system and vice versa.
The actuator 1 comprises two identical drive trains connected in parallel, each consisting of a motor 2 , 3 and a worm gear with worm 4 , 5 and worm wheel 6 , 7 . The worm gears on the one hand have the task of reducing the speed and increasing the torque, on the other hand they are intended to prevent torque transmission from the component 18 to be adjusted, that is to say from the rotor blade, to the motors 2 , 3 in order to act as a parking brake. For this purpose, the worm gears are designed to be self-locking, which is achieved by a catchy design of the screws 4 , 5 with a correspondingly small pitch. The output shafts on the worm gears 6 , 7 open coaxially into a common differential gear and are each connected to a gear 8 , 9 designed as a bevel gear in a torsion-resistant manner. The gears 8 , 9 transmit the torque to the differential gears 10 , 11 , which are rotatably mounted in the cage 12 . With the cage 12 , a gear 13 designed as a ring gear is connected torsionally, which meshes with the bevel gear 14 . The adjusting torque is transmitted via an intermediate shaft to a pinion 15 designed as a spur gear and from this - with further enlargement - to a wheel 16 connected to the rotor blade (component 18 ) in a torsion-proof manner in the area of the blade angle bearing 17 .
There are of course other possibilities for the mechanical coupling of the differential gear with the rotor blade. For example, the wheels 13 and 16 or 15 and 16 can be designed as sprockets or belt wheels and connected via toothed chains, roller chains or toothed belts. With regard to reproducible adjusting movements, the torque transmission should be as positive as possible.
The design of the differential gear with bevel gears is also not necessarily. There are also differential gears, which are exclusive work with spur gears.
Apart from the absence of brakes, the actuator 1 according to the invention has the advantage that when a drive train is at a standstill due to mechanical or electrical failure without the use of clutches, the actuating function is carried out without restriction by the intact drive train. This is made possible by the differential effect, which leads to a halving of the positioning speed with the same positioning torque.
For monitoring and control, a tachometer generator 20 , 21 is arranged on each of the two motors 2 , 3 , and a rotation angle sensor 19 and a tachometer generator 22 are arranged on the shaft of the pinion 15 .
Although the actuator 1 is also fully functional with only one intact drive train, it makes sense to provide an automatic system which, in the event of a malfunction or failure of a train, causes the intact train to bring the rotor blade or blades to a feathered position. This is the quickest and safest way to alert operators to errors.
