what is the point of all these changes. You get something set up, it works o/k, then some clever person decides to change everything. All right for some computer geek but ordinary users I know are not pleased with these constant re-inventions.

Bruce Holm, you are actually wrong. Rupert Murdoch's News Corp (Fox News) took over Dow Jones Corp in Dec. 2007. So MarketWatch is indeed owned by the same man who owns Fox News.

Why is it that Liberals love to avoid specifics and just rant against anything conservative and that conservatives love to find fault with just about everything liberal. Seems to me the guilty always shout the loudest or as another great saying goes: a clean conscience makes for clean conversation. Keep to the facts, avoid assumptions and allow others to be, seems to be a good way to live with others.

Only issue with Fox is that they bring passionate pro and con position people onto the scene and let them hash it out - this is a turn off for a lot of folk who dont like the occasionally tense disagreements. But, if your looking for unadulterated views, no better way to find the truth then listen to both sides face to face. And then do your own web based research! Fox is popular for a reason, most mature adults can handle the arguing for the knowledge it gives them.

Do you really think Fox always tells the truth? SO on any given day, FOX is always truthful, and...say...the "liberals" at CNN are always lying? Is it a conspiracy? So Fox is just fighting the evil liars at CNN by exposing the truth, that is why they exist. Have you been raised in a bubble? Why is your concept of the truth is that of a 7 year old? OH, I GET IT. You don't even believe what you are saying. Your mission is to add noise to the discussion because you are either afraid/hateful (the two go hand in hand), or you have been hired to make noise. I believe the former. Please Eloise, expand your idea of the truth, for the sake of our democracy.

Dow Jones Corp is owned by NEWSCORP. DO some research, Bruce, instead of just tuning into Fox. Do you Fox people even realize that all your comments sound the same? Liberal is not a dirty word. Neither was Jew during the 40's...until...We know how that turned out. Any "News" organization that thinks you should have this much contempt for "liberals" is using you for their own agenda. DO you realize there are liberals in Afghanistan right now fighting for you?

I didn't realize marketwatch was owned by NEWS CORP, the same owners of FOX NEWS. I always wondered why all the opinion pieces were fear based nonsense. I guess they are really trying to sell more gold through NEWSCORP "chicken little" tactics that poison our Democracy. You think it is Unions/Socialists/Gays/Obama you should fear? Nope. It's entities like NEWSCORP. Now that I know, I will stop visiting that website and definitely NOT add any of their widgets to iGoogle. Thanks for the tip. I guess I'm not the only one that feels so strongly about NEWS CORP. In fact, I would say our numbers are growing.
