Whats the point.  jdavies@jcsolutions.ca - Feb 28, 2013 - Report this comment

No point in listing articles from the wall street journal if they cant be read without buying a subscription! Really annoying to see a headline then not be able to read the article because you aren't paying for it.

Remove Wall Street Journal   - Andrew Randt - Feb 22, 2013 - Report this comment

God this feed is irritating. They want to block it from non subscribers.. that's fine just stop using me to boost their numbers if I'm not allowed to view their content. Please remove their feed or at least allow me to block it.

Netvibes  Matthew Young - Jul 12, 2012 - Report this comment

A few people below asked about finding a replacement for iGoogle. I feel ya, I've been using it as my home since the first month they released it. I've poked around, and not to sound spammy, but give Netvibes a try. It's similar, and so far I've been able to mimic all of my gadgets; even if a couple of them don't look quite as smooth and the search box is irritatingly smaller than iGoogles. Honestly, I just don't get why Google is shuttering it. Oh well, at least we still have over a year before they do.

doesn't honor news preferences   - Devin Bryant - Mar 8, 2012 - Report this comment

I specifically remove news from sites like Fox in my google news (to avoid getting distracted by some of the sensationalist articles), this widget, being a google tool and a news summary, should follow those preferences.

I agree, please stop including stories from sites that require a paid subscription in order to access them.

With a little polishing it would have been excellent!
